LOCAL PLUNKET SOCIETY RECENT EXHIBITION SATISFACTORY RESULT
The. highly satisfactory net total of slightly over £4t>o was "collected as a result 'of the Gisborne i'hmket Society's oeautil'ul baby photographic exhibition that concluded on Saturday in -Messrs. Hetties' lounge. This represents, in comparison with the number of photographs on exhibit over £1 per photograph. i'be Auckland I'luii.ket Society, in _ a .similar campaign, collected only 8s for jacli photograph iu its. exhibition. The total number of votes recorded in die exhibition was 110,858. They were divided in the section.-: as follow :—Class A. 17.457 votes; Class B, 1:9.395; Class C, 2,7,746; Class 1). 22.591; Class E, Jol3, Class 1-', 4156. On behalf of the committee, the actingpresident, -Mrs. J. Mothers will be able to collect their photographs at the Plunkel rooms, and those to whom the prize-winning babies belong will be able to collect their prizes from the Hunkef rooms any time after Wednesday. The value of the votes cast on these two baliies alone amounted to £66 3s Id.
