GUARANTEED PRICE PLAN TOOLEY STREET ATTITUDE Established merchants in the dairy trade, in Tooley street, London, arc prepared to co-operato with the New Zealand Government in the distribution of (he Dominion's dairy exports under the guaranteed price scheme, according to an assurance received by the .Minister of Finance, the Hon. W. Nash. Discussing the position the Minister said ho had received from a, man closely associated with Tooley street merchants a definite indication that, the London merchants recognised the inevitability of changes in the' form of marketing, but that the. majority of the older houses would bo willing to assist in carrying out the Government's proposals. "To the extent, that, the new procedure will eliminate as far as possible I he, speculative element, and provide for efficient distribution." Mr. Nash continued, "the evidence available, tends to prove that, the merchants will co-operate with the (iovernment.''
