TRIBUTES TO GERMAN
LONDON CEREMONIES PASSING OF AMBASSADOR (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 9.30 a.m. RUGBY, April 14. • The body of Dr. Leopold von Hoesch, the late German Ambassador to London, is to be borne on a gun carriage from the German Embassy to Victoria Station to-morrow, and detachments of the Royal Horse Guards and Grenadier Guards will inarch in the funeral procession. The Foreign Secretary, Mr. Anthony Eden, will be among those who follow on foot. A guard of honour supplied by the Coldstream Guards, with the band and regimental colours, will be mounted on the platform at Victoria Station, and as the train draws out of the station tho guard will present arms and the band will play the German national anthem.
The guard of honour at Dover will be a mounted marine station, and a salute of 19 guns will be iired as tho coffin is carried from the train to H.M.S. Scout, in which it is to be conveyed to Willie!mshaven, en route to Dresden, where the burial is to take place on Saturday.
