CATTLE IMPORTATIONS
THREE MORE TO GISBORNE ABERDEEN ANGUS BULLS A further consignment of imported bulls is on its way to Gisborne from the United Kingdom. Three of the Aberdeen Angus ibreed are at present in quarantine in Tasmania for Mr. W. Clarke, Opou. They are expected in New Zealand in about two months with two others for Mr. Prank Armstrong, Akitio. This is another instance showing that despite the live stock embargo, New Zealand breeders are keen to import new blood from the United Kingdom by adopting the expensive method of "bringing the importations through a country not affected by the restriction.
All five bulls in the present conSicnment come from Scotland, and their importation has been arranged bv the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited.
