M. Armand Niholte, Consul for Belgium in New Zealand, will leave Wellington by tlie Wanganella to-morrow for Australia, where lie is to take charge of the Consulate-General of Belgium during the absence of M. H. Segacrp. M. Nihottc expects to he absent for about eight months, and while lie is away Mr. M. G. G. McCanl, Wellington, will act on his behalf. Mr. Cl. L. M. Schrader, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Schrader, of Rongotai, will leave Wellington by the Wanganella to-morrow en route to England, where lie will take up a shortservice commission in the Royal Air Force, lie is an old .-boy of Scots College, and, though lie is its nineteenth pupil to obtain a pilot’s license in New Zealand, lie is the first to he accepted by the Royal Air Force. He was trained by Squadron Leader G. L. S'ledtnan, at Rongotai, and qualified as a pilot in December last. He represented his college at Rugby, cricket and athletics, and since he left in 1932 he has been •i member of the Seatoun Rugby club, the Brooklyn harriers, and the Worser B'av Swimming Club,.
