A two-seater car, driven by Mr Doherty, of Whakatane, collided with a lorry owned 'by the Gisbonio Fruit Company, at a * bond in the Waimana Gorge about live miles from Taneatiia, on Friday morning, reports the Press. The car' was considerably damaged and had to be towed to Whakatane for repairs. Neither driver was injured.
