RHODES SCHOLARS
TRUST’S ANNUAL REPORT NEW ZEALAND HOLDERS LONDON, Nov. 27. 'flic Rhodes Trust, in the annual statement reports that during the year Off Rhodes Scholars took up their scholarships for the first time, and 7~> either completed the term of scholarship or finally went ou't of residence without completing it. The following New Zealanders’ names appear in the list of degrees, honors and distinctions: —J. M. Bertram, firstclass in English language and literature, in the final Honor Schools, (j. S. Cox, second-class in modern languages, philosophy, politics and economics, in the Final Honor Schools; and ,T. E. Lovelock, third-class in natural science, in the Final Honor Schools. ,T. C. Dakin took a first-class in the Colonial Administrative Service course; and J. M. Bertram won the Charles Oldham Scholarship. .T. E. Lovelock represented Oxford against Cambridge in athletic sports and in the relay races.
