DESIRE FOR RESTORATION CONFERENCE OF EMPLOYEES At the annual conference in Dunedin of the New Zealand Federated Woollen Mills and Hosiery Factory Employees’ Industrial Association of Workers, when delegates from Auckland, Kaiapoi, Christchurch, Dunedin and Mosgiel were present, the matter of the amendment of the Arbitration Conciliation Act was discussed. The conference also deplored the action of the Employers’ Association in issuing a statement that the industry could not stand a restoration of the cut in wages, and comment was made on the fact that handsome dividends had been paid to shareholders of woollen mills that were working only part time. ,
