(British Official Wireless.) Ree. 10 a.m. RUGBY, Dec. 26. Sir John Simon arrived on Sunday at Cannes, where he spent Christmas. Concerning his Paris conversations with M. Laval, the French newspapers state that questions reviewed included the .Saar plebiscite, the projected eastern European pact, the rearmament of Germany, Franco-ltalian negotiations, the situation- in the Danube countries, and the abrogation of the Washington Naval Treaty. in .view of the wide range of conversations, only the barest review of the questions was undertaken, and there was- no question of decisions, or even discussions, on the basis of a definite programme,
