PRAYER FOR PEACE
A PAPAL ADDRESS
HOME, 1K..-, 24. The Pope, in a Vatican address, says: “Varying rumors of war and armaments are adding to the distress of an already difficult period. If peace is really desired, our prayer shall be for peace. If there are any, who through veritable suicidal and homicidal mania prefer war, then there is another prayer which it. becomes our duty to say : Disperse the people who want war.’ ”
