PROMINENT CRICKETER (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. C. C. Dacre, the New Zealand cricketer, returned from England to-day. He will leave again at the end of having been engaged for another season to play for Gloucester. He said that Reid, the Essex fast 'bowler, was likely to gain a place in the English team. There was not much between him and Larwood.
