MUSSOLINI’S VIEWS STRENGTH OF. ARMS (Received Dec. 19, 2 p.m.) ROME, Deb. 18. “The plough traces .tlie furrow, but the sWord defends it,” declared Signor Mussolini in a broadcast speech inaugurating the new Italian province of Littorie. The land was reclaimed from the Pontine marshes between Naples and Rome.
He added ; ‘‘Ten years work remains. Great, strength of arms is needed to prevent its interruption.”
