NAPOLEON’S LETTERS ACQUIRED BY FRANCE (Received Dec. 18, 2 p.m.) LONDON', Dee. 17. In the presence of 300 people, including dealers Imping to make separate purchases, 318 of Napoleon’s unpublished love letters to Marie Louise, from 1810 to 1814, dealing with his courtship and marriage, the Russian campaign, the defeat at Leipzig, and his exile lo Elba, were sold in one lot for £15.000 at Snthehys, to Mr. Maggs, on behalf of the French Government. The owner was an anonymous nobleman.
