MUCH UNSOLD WOOL
MORE SALES WANTED FARMERS MAY BE LEFT (Per X’refis Association.; CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Wool buyers are anticipating a flood of requests for extra sales this season. Not for many years lias there been so much unsold wool waiting to be put under the hammer. Hoping for ,a rise in price, farmers have held ivool back from the opening sales, all of which have boon far below the allocation. One buyer stated to-day that it was important to remember that requests for additional sales did not mean that they necessarily would be held, nor did it mean that if sales were arranged there would be a full attendance of buyers. Farmers who did not offer wool now might easily be left.
