CAR LEAVES ROAD
THREE PASSENGERS INJURED i (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A car left the road shortly before midnight near Taita Gorge and struck the concrete fence posts. The three occupants were rendered unconscious, and were attended to by Dr. Barron and sent to hospital. The driver was Mr. M. Holland, of Petone, and tho passengers Mr. A. J. White, of Miramar, and Mr. Thomas Allen, of Hawkestoue street, Wellington. Mr. White fractured hisi right wrist and received an injury to the head; Mr. Allen has a severe wound on the head, and possibly a fracture of the jaw, concussion, and shock; and Mr. Holland injured his head, right hand, arid left thiglVwriieh was fractured, and suffered severe shock.
