'Pukeko, m.v.. 10.30 p.m., 73(1 tons, S. .Tones, for Napier. The Waimea arrived from Auckland last, night, and on completion of discharge and loading this alternoon, sails for Napier. The Wainui loads for Napier .and Gisborne, leaving Dunedin on Monday next, working Oamaru and Timaru on Tuesday, Lyttelton on Wednesday, thence Napier. The vessel is due here about, Saturday, December 22. to discharge. Tlio Now Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Norfolk is now loading irozen meat and- wool for United Kingdom parts at Tokomam Bay. She is expected to sail tomorrow afternoon for Auckland. The O. and D. Line steamer Port, Campbell continued loading lor London in the roadstead to-day and is now expected to he dispatched to-night lor Wellington and Lyttelton to complete. The Pukeko discharged and loaded here last night, sailing at 10.30 o’clock for Napier. The vessel will he dispatched from the Hawke's Bay port to-day for Auckland, via. the Coast. The. Awahou arrived at 4 a.m. to-day from Wellington and Napier. She sails later to-day for Lyttelton, where she will load on Monday for Waikokopu, Gisborne and the Coast. On the arrival of the Awahou at Lyttelton Captain C'oldicull will leave the vessel to take-over the.Pakura. another of the Richardson Company’s ships. Captain G. Nairn will take charge of the Awahou in the meantime. Tlio Margaret W arrived at 3.30 o’clock this morning from Auckland. Hicks Bay. Tokomam Bay, and Tolaga Bay. The vessel sails this afternoon for Mahurangi IJoads, North Auckland, proceeding later to Auckland to load on Monday and Tuesday for the Const and Gisborne. The Tiron and the Karoro are expected to arrive hack from Tokomam Ba,v on Sunday morning. Advice that the Marine Department had agreed to the carrying capacity of five of its vessels being reduced to under 1000 passengers was received from the Devon port.
