OPERA HOUSE McKAY’S “SEE YOU LATER” The present at ion last night by Mr Stanley McKay’s Australian musical and comedy revue company off “See You Later” was an unqualified success and they were thoroughly satisfied patrons who left the theatre as the final curtain was rung down. Early ia the programme Mr '(Toil Perrv and Miss Rae Foster contributed vocal solos which were much appiyehucd, - and they were followed by a humorous sketch by Mr Frank Perrin and Miss Nell Fleming. Mr Teddy Stanley, the vest pocket comedian, and Mr Perrin literally “brought the house down” on several occasions with their repartee. “Trampo,” the'hobo on the clothes line, thrilled the audience with his clever antics on the rope. Miss Nell Fleming, the leading lady, was extremely good in her solo work, while Mr Victor Burke, the Irish tenor, made a highly successful appearance singing “Sally Horner.” The “Three Alecs”. eontViluired an item entitled “Grecian Statues,” which was marvellously performed and drew forth a burst of applause, Lee and Barrie, the speciality dancers, excelled themselves in their appearances. Together with these numbers, rrghtning sketches, enacted bv Messrs. Perrin, Stanley, Perry and Argyle and Misses Fleming, Dot Arnold and Ivy l.vel, were well received. Muss Esina Roach, the talented violinist, Mr Fred Arg.vle with his Dickons characterisations, and the yodelling Newtons helped to make the show a tremendous success.
'To-morrow afternoon at 2.150 o’clock the children will be catered for when the Christinas .pantomime, “Little BoPocp,” will be staged with dainty Miss Yell Fleming as the little Arcadian shepherdess. During the afternoon several valuable presents will be given away to the lucky children. A complete change of programme is being arranged for Saturday night’s gala farewell. Reserves may lie procured at Tatters, all and Baylv’s.
