“LIVE” FENCING WIRE
TWO PERSONS KILLED BROTHERTAND SISTER SYDNEY, Dec. 12. Lucy Skinner, 30, and Frederick Skinner, 21, whoso parents are dairy farmers at Maclean, North Coast, were electrocuted to-day in tragic circumstances. Frederick Skinner went to the assistance of a neighbor’s cow, which was lying near the fence, and was unlocking the wire gate when he was killed. His sister, Lucy, attempted to pull him away but she screamed and died instantly. It was ascertained that a hydroelectric high power wire had broken some distance aWay and had fallen across the fence to come into contact with the top strand of barbed wire.
