Prince Henry to-day visited the South Australian University, where the honarary degree of doctor of laws was conferred upon him. In responding, he advocated an extension of university pilgrimages, and a How of young men coming regularly from Great Britain to the Dominion seats of learning. He added : “The - friendships thus formed, and the sympathy established and the ideas exchanged between those who ought to be leaders of their respective peoples, cannot fail to have a profound effect on our future.”
Prince Henry then went to the adjoining Oval, where 3000 returned soldiers gave him a rousing reception. He later placed a wreath on the State War Memorial.
Prince Henry to-night was the chief guest at a Parliamentary dinner. Tomorrow he visits Glenelg and sails at night aboard the Sussex for Melbourne.
