SYDNEY WOOL SALES GOOD CLEARANCE MADE. SYDNEY, Oct. IS. The wool sales resumed, .vyfieri. 8906 bales were offered, of which 7875 were sold; 1029 bales were disposed of privately. Keen competition was witnessed from Yorkshire on suitable wools, and with good support from Japan and the Continent. Compared with the closing Sydney rates at the end of September, wellgrown fleece wools and bulky skirtings ruled in sellers' favor and were occasionally 5 per cent lyghcr, whilst average descriptions remained firm. Good clearances were effected. Greasy merino sold to lojd for 33 bales from Narrandera. - BRADFORD STEADY (Received October 16, noon.) LONDON, October 15.
