(Pur Pres* Association.)
AUCKLAND, this day,
A resolution placing on record its sincere appreciation of the fruitful service and noble efforts of the GovernorGeneral and Lady Bledisloe in all matters pertaining to the spiritual, moral, and temporal welfare of the people of New Zealand, was passed at the session of the Diocesan Synod. The synod desired to express to Lord and Lady Bledisloe its real gratitude for nil they had been to, and done for, the Dominion, its deep regret at their departure, and its fervent hope that they might long be spared to continue their unselfish service in the Homeland for the glory of God and the well-being of mankind.
