MELBOURNE, August 1. Sides mi the Melhourne Stock Exchange to-day included : National Bank of Austral.isia. £lO paid. £l2 5s ; Goldsbrough Mori, 29s 3d; Mount Lyell, 21s 7jd. MATAMATA HORSE SALE Dalgety and 1 Company held the Malamala horse sale on Monday, the .yarding consisting of 96 useful horses. A good proportion of (lie yarding was from tho East, {.'oast, and consisted of two and three-year light unbroken draughts and good farm sorts. There was a largo attendance, and very keen competition for all useful sorts, 86 head selling under the hammer at very satisfactory prices. The following were the principal sales:— Unbroken liily. rising three years, £34 10s ; unbroken geldings, rising two years, £ls to £3O iOs; unbroken geldings, rising three years, £39 to £29 19s'; usefid light draughts, £ls 10s to £34; heavy draughts, £l6 to £4O; hacks, £5 5s to £l4 10s; pony stallion, £6'l'Os; inferior hacks, at usual rates.
