WORK TO PROCEED
INDIAN COMMITTEE PERSONNEL* UNCHANGED LONDON, Nov. 22. The House of Commons carried without division a motion by Mr. It. A. Butler to reconstitute the joint Select Committee oir Indian Affairs, and continue the present work. Sir Samuel Hoare, Minister for India, said that all the issues raised had been carefully considered, and as they were practical men with goodwill, and anxious to proceed by cooperation, not coercion, it would be better to allow experienced and responsible people like the joint committee to proceed unhampered.
