MATAWAI NEWS
(Herald Correspondent.) The Matawai-Motu R.S.A. executive held a committee meeting in Mr. Pritchard's garage. A telegram of sympathy in the loss sustained by the branch and his relatives through the death of the late Mr. Victor King was received from Mr. K. S. Williams. M.P. Arrangements for the concert to lie held at Motu, half the proceeds of which have been promised to the local R.S.A., were finalised. Mr. C. F. Pert, Wairou. has boon appointed to the staff of the Matavvai Post Office. A valedictory social is being held in the near future for Mr. It. Wheeler.
