CYCLING CHAMPIONSHTP (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The New Zealand amateur road cycling championship was to have been held at Hawera next week, but no entries have been received, and so the event has been calk'd off. It was to have been a 100-kilometer time trial. Entries closed on Monday, but acceptance was deferred for a day, as there was a possibility that posting might have been delayed till the last minute. Nevertheless none arrived.
