UNEMPLOYED WOMEN
NEW COMMITTEE BET UP (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Hon. A. Hamilton announced today that the Unemployment Board had decided to again set lip an advisory and investigating women’s committee, which will co-operate with the board in dealing with unemployment amongst women. The committee appointed consists ot Miss B. E. Carnachan, Airs. Alarsliall AlacDoiiald, and Mrs. A:L J. Forde, and held a. preliminary meeting yesterday. It will be its duty to visit different centres for the purpose ol consulting with and advising local committees, and to report their various findings to the board.
