THE WOOL MARKET
LONDON SALE PROSPECTS COMMENT IN YORKSHIRE (Received Sept. 13, noon.) LONDON, Sept. 12. The Yorkshire Observer says the real test of wool values will come at the opening of the London sales on Tuesday. It is confidently predicted that the prices will follow Australia. Apparently there is no surplus of finer qualities of raw material on the Bradford market. Traders feel that lower prices are improbable before the end of 1933, one believing that if consumption is maintained at the present high level, values will continue well into 1934. The total available for the sale, is 187,000 bales, including new arrivals of Australian 47,600. and New Zealand 74,000. It is expected that about 175.0C0 bales will be catalogued.
