WALKER BEATS PATTERSON (Per Press Association.) HASTINGS, this day. In the most colorful wrestling bout at Hastings this season, George Walker last night defeated Jack Patterson by two falls to one before a record attendance. Patterson substituted for Pereira at tho last minute and gave the crowd plenty of excitement with many incidents. -The first fall went to Patterson in the/ third round with a variation of the cradle hold. The American bustled the champion till near the end of the sixth round, when Walker evened up the falls with a. bar toe hold: Within half a minute of the resumption Walker secured the winning fall. Patterson submitted to a double bar toe hold.
