BOMBING BY AIR FORCE VICEROY’S STATEMENT (Received August 31, noon.) DELHI, August 30. A crowded Assembly heard the denial by the Viceroy, Lord Willingdon, that the frontier bombing in any way infringed the canons of humanity. Air action of this sort had often occurred in the past 12 years without comment, he said. On the present occasion no one was killed and only one man injured.
