N.Z. TEST RECITAL
PROTEST UPHELD (Par Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A protest was lodged l against the winner of the New Zealand test recital, Mr. Robert Cheyne, of Eastbourne, on the ground that he exceeded the time limit of six minutes allowed for reciting own selection pieces, and tips morning Mr. Cheyne gave a private recital of the piece before the protest committee of the Competitions Society. He exceeded the limit, so the protest was upheld, and Mr. W. S'. Minehan, of Timarn, who wa3 second, gains first place.
