OBITUARY
THE REV. JOHN McNEILL (Received April 20, 2 p.m.) LONDON, April 19. The death is reported of the noted mission preacher, the Rev. John McNeill, aged 79 years.
Born in Scotland in 1854, the late Mr. McNeill commenced work in the railway service, which lie left in 1877 to study for the ministry. He was ordained in the ,Scottish Free Church in 1886. He started as a. mission preacher with the late ]). L. Moody at Aberdeen, in 1892, and subsequently visited all parts of the world, including New Zealand.
