Sir Apirana Ngnta, Afinister of Native Affairs, is at present touring tin; East Coast in connection with the .Maori farm settlement scheme, a large gathering nl/Tikitiki being one of the public fixtures made in advance of bis visit. He eatno from the north via Cape Runaway, inspecting settlement farms and, taking up with the settlors’ leaders the various problems which at the moment, happen to be of most importance. He is accompanied on the tour by .Messrs. Taite to Toino and Tan Heiiaro. .Maori members of I'arlianient. and will visit, Cisbofne, Nuliaka, and Moliuka in turn within the nest few days. An induction service will he hold in the Manga.papa Methodist Cjiuren on Friday, April 21, at 7..'10 pun., when the new' minister, the Rev, Mr. Johnstone, will bo welcomed to the district. The Rev. H. Daniels will conduct tho service.
