CATHEDRAL ROBBERY
ARREST OF A GANG MANY CRIMES SUSPECTED (Elec. Tel. Copyright,—United Press Assn.) BRUSSELS, Dec. 6. The Treves police were baffled by the theft of several million marks’ worth of art treasures from Sakingen Cathedral, until they saw a woman with a dress made from altar vestments. A constable attired in a woman's dress deceived a male suspect, and gained entrance to a fiat in Brussels, where he. found the whole of the stolen treasur, and in addition a plant for coining five mark pieces, for which the church silver had been utilised. The police 'have now captured the whole gang who are suspected of a series of robberies from the German museums.
