APPEAL DISMISSED
WAIRARAPA CUP PLACINGS (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The appeal of B. Burgess against the decision of the Carterton Racing Club committee in reversing the playings of Atholspear and Gay Court in the recent Wairarapa .Cup race was dismissed yesterday by the Wellington district committee. The term of three months’ suspension imposed on Atholspear’s jockey, A. O’Neill, was reduced to one month.
