LONDON BOXING CONTEST WAX BEATS BLOOMFIELD (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Received Nov. 30, 11 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 29. An exciting scene followed a hard 15-round contest at Paddington Baths between Leo Wax, of London, and Fred Bloomfield. Wax continued to fight after the gong. One of Bloomfield’s seconds jumped into the ring and struck him. Officials eventually parted the boxers, declaring Wax the winner. He explained that he did not hear the gong.
