TWO PASSENGERS
TRANS-TASMAN FLIGHT WIRELESS TELEPHONY (Received Nov. 30, noon) SYDNEY, Nov. 30. Providing that the weather reports are ’favorable, Sir Charles Kingsford Smith will commence his flight to New Zealand at 2 a.in. on January 12 from Gerringong beach, on the soutli coast. It is hoped to install apparatus on the Southern Cross enabling wireless telephony to be carried on during the flight. “Smithy” stated 'that probably he would carry two passengers.
