TRADE WITH CHINA
POSSIBILITIES FOR AUSTRALIA . SYDNEY, Nov. 18. In an address to the Lismore Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Vivian Young Chow, a former Lismore resident, and now a Shanghai journalist, said that Australia was not taking sufficient interest in the possibilities of trado with China. When he visited tho British Trade Commissioner in China seeking information for tho purchase of Australian wheat, the only information he was given was about Canadian wheat. He complained, and was referred to another department, where he was presented with literature on the beauty spots and health resorts of Australia. Many people in China believed that Bolshevism was about to break out here.
