MAJESTIC THEATRE. V A production that fairly teems in human interest and abounds in thrills, ‘ ‘Murder on the Beeond Floor,” will close nil enjoyable season at the Majestic Theatre this evening. A highly diverting story of an unconventional love affair between a professional prize lighter and a pampered pot of society is unfolded, in “Society Girl,” a comedy romance which commences at the Majestic Theatre on Saturday. In this entertaining picture Peggy Dunn gives a magnificent characterisation in the title role. James Dunn (of “Bad Girl,” “Over the Hill” and “Dance Team” fame) interprets the role of the prize lighter with conspicuous success. Determined to outdo the other members of her set. by providing a novel party, Judy Gelott. (Peggy Shannon)' arranged with a fight promotor for a number of prize fighters to entertain her friends. Among the men who give exhibitions at her luxurious mansion js Johnny Malone’(James Dunn), who is in training for a contest for the middleweight championship. The girl attempts a flirtation with Malone, but ho rebuffs her. The girl determines to make the man fall in hive with her, and to the disgust of Malone's .manager (Snencer Tracy), she becomes a frequent visitor to the training camp. The prize lighter fails desperately m love, without realising flint to the gui In; is only a new plaything. As a result of his infatuation the boy neglects lijs training to such an extent that lus manager leaves him, and when he meets his opponent lie is so badly knocked about that for a time lus lito is despaired of.
