A cablegram recommending that the vessel to replace the wrecked Southern Gross should be built in Auckland lias lipen sent by the finance committee of the Melanesian Mission' Board to'the committee representing the supporters of the mission in England. The cablegram stated that, in view of tlio exchange position and quick delivery of the vessel it would be in ihe interests of the mis sion lo have it built in Auckland,
