CHILEAN GOVERNMENT
BRITISH EMPIRE RECOGNITION (Received October 24, noon) SANTIAGO, October 23., The British Ambassador at Santiago has handed a note to the Chilean Foreign Minister, stating that the Governments of Britain, Australia, New Zealand and Canada would be happy to enter into official relations with the Chilean Government as at present constituted.
A similar note has also been presented by the United States. The present Chilean Government came into power on September IS, when Sehor Davila was replaced.
