HOME STOCK MARKET NERVOUS INSTABILITY LONDON, Oct. 21 The decline in sterling revealed the nervous instability of the market. Prophets who, a week ago, spoke of British securities progressing on a. 3 per cent, basis, now forecast a general decline of gilt edgeds and advise the buying of gold and sitting thereon. These extremes of sentiment prevent a reasonable estimation of future calculations to forecast the direction in which scrip will next stampede. Best opinion considers that sterling is likely to decline till the end of the year.
