Mr Ilislop states that a deputation of power boards had waited upon the Minister urging that the activities of the municipalities supplying power in New Zealand should be taken over by the various power boards. “The matter is of vital importance to muni cipalities supplying power and, after consultation with some of the. bodies concerned, particularly with the Mayor of Palmerston North, I think it advisable that the views of the municipalities supplying 'power should be ■placed before the Minister without delay,” said Mr Ilislop. Mr Robbins and the borough engineer, Mr C. W. Boak, will attend the conference.
