OBITUARY
MR. GEORGE 11. MORTON (Ter Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, last; night. The death is reported of Mr. George Henry Morton, 77, for many 'years head of the preparatory department of Christ’s College, and a well-known pioneer teacher. Mrs. Makareli (Margaret) Hinewai Grace, of Kihikihi, one of the most respected and inllueiitial women of the Maori race in the Waikato, has died. A daughter of a prominent chief of the Ngatinianiapoto tribe, she married the late Mr. William H. Grace, a well-known native interpreter, and made her home in Kihikihi.
