In the 'competent hands of Mr (!. 'Crawshaw, the musical programme for the annual reunion of returned soldiers, to be hold to-morrow evening in the City Hull, has taken a specially pleasing shape, and many of the old songs associated with war service days will figure in the repertoire of the orchestra, a strong combination of well known instrumentalists. Latest advices from the sub-associations situated outside Gisborne indicate that each will be represented by a strong delegation at the reunion, and special interest among ex-members of the Otago Brigade has been aroused by the prospect of renewing acquaintance with Col, Largest, M.P., who commanded a battalion of that -brigade during the Great War. Col. Largest is to attend the reunion with Major-General Sinclair Burgess, G.O.C. the New Zealand Forces, and Mr K. S. Williams, M.P.; his acceptance of nn invitation was the result of a personal conversation with Mr Williams, it is understood. There are many men of this district who were drafted to the Otago Infantry during 1 the war, and Col. Largest will be as welcome for old times’ sake to them, as he will be to returned men generally for his recent championship of the ji ghfs of soldier pensioners.
