INQUEST CONCLUDED
TRIPLE SYDNEY TRAGEDY LETTERS' QF CONFESSION (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) SYDNEY, Oct. 23, At the conclusion of the inquiry into the death of Sheila Gilligan, who was found murdered in a basement, the jury agreed that she was murder ed by her aunt, Mrs. May Bryce, who committed suicide while temporarily mentally deranged. An open verdict was recorded in regard to Dulcic Bryce, whose body .was found on the beach. Mrs. Bryce's two sons, who were .in the country at the date of the tragedy, gave evidence that they subsequently discovered letters written by their dead sister Dnlcie, in her University schoolbooks. These letters, containing Mrs. Bryce's confession of the murder of Sheila Gilligan, were sold to a Sunday newspaper for £35, Horace Bryce saying, “My brother and I needed the money badly.’’
