FALL FROM TRAIN
WOMAN FATALLY INJURED (Per Press Association.) TAUMARUNUI, this day. As the Limited express from Auckland was pulling into Taumarumii at midnight, Mrs. Enyii.a Dixon Crawford, 50, wife of Arthur Crawford, Ponsonby road, Auckland, while waiting to alight from a recess of one of the now do luxe carriages, overbalanced and fell on to the track. Tho carriage moved half its length along the platform after, she foil, and when extricated it was found that Mrs. Crawford was dyad, apparently having been struck by a gear box and wedged beneath. The train was delayed for half an hour.
