LONDON, Juno IS. For the first time for some years at Wimbledon, in the men's singles, two Englishmcnt have been among the select eight to be seeded. In the women's singles the seeded players are Misses Nuttall and Mudford and’Mrs. Whittingstall (Britain), Frauloin Ausscm and Frnulein Krahioinkel (Germany), Madame Mathiu (France), Miss Jacobs (America) and Senorita D'Alverez (Spain).
In the women's international tennis at Eastbourne to-day, Britain defeated France, winning all six matches.
