THREAT TO RUSSIANS

QUESTIONS IN COMMONS NO OFFICIAL ADVICE (British Official Wireless.) Rec. 10 a.in. RUGBY, April 11. Mr ,J. R. Clynes, the Home Secretary, was questioned in the House of Commons regarding the order issued by the Soviet Consul-General in London to a number of Russian .subjects domiciled here ordering them to return to Moscow, where they were liable to execution. He was asked what action lie proposed to take with regard to their continued residence in this country. Mr. dvnes said lie had only seen the newspaper reports. No representations had reached him from any of the people, supposed to lie concerned. He was now engaged in inquiring into the position of certain former employees of Soviet organisations in this country, and lie had no doubt that all relevant considerations would come to light in these inquiries.
