INTER-SCIIOOL MATCH I’upils of St. Winifred’s School and of the High School met. in an interesting match on Wednesday on the former school’s courts, and the match resulted in a victory for St. Winifred’s. The players representing both schools were in good form, and several close and interesting games were witnessed. Unfortunately, a shower of rain somewhat damped the courts, but play was resumed when the rain ceased. Afternoon tea was served in the pavilion. A return match will be played on the courts at the High School girls’ hostel on Tuesday. Following are the results, High School players being mentioned first in each case:— Singles: E.
