POVERTY BAY EXECUTIVE REPRESENTATIVE FIXTURES Arrangements in connection with forthcoming representative fixtures were made at a meeting of the management committee ot the Poverty Bay Cricket Association last evening. ine chairman, Mr. 11. K. Maude, presided, and there were also present : Messrs. G. J. McGregor, F. Bennett, S. Edwards, A. Baker, J. M. Kay, A. Biguell, A. C. Woudiield, W. Mason, and it. U . Cutniniug, hon see. The committee approved the following team submitted by the selector to play Hawke’s Bay at Napier at Easter: F Bennett, G. N. Lockett, 11. F Forster, E. Dow, G. Clifton, Eraser, IJ. Wells, E. James, J.. Thomson, G. Pocock, and J. Jennings. Mr. Thomson was appointed captain, Mr. Clitlon vice-captain, and Mr. horsier manager. The junior representative selectors submitted the following team to represent Poverty Bay against Hawke’s Bay at Napier at Easter: Jlci, Jlopkinson, Greaves, Somervell, McKay, Grant, Stewart (High School), flood, Mac Murray, Lockett, Wilson (Turanguuui); 12th man, Campbell (to travel if any of the above players are unable to make the trip). Tiie team was approved. Mr. H. Good was appointed captain, and it was decided to ask Mr. L. Thomson to act as manager.
'flic selector reported that be bad not yet completed the team to meet Wairoa at Wairoa on Easter Monday, and it was resolved that the matter should be left in the bands of the selector and Messrs. Biguell and Woudiield, a further report tu be submitted to tiie meeting on Monday evening. Mr. (). R. Olsen was appointed captain, and it was decided to ask Mr. Morton to act as manager.
